Softage have completed an open source integration project for Nomura Research Institute (NRI), Japan, a leading Japanese system integrator.The main project goal was to create a bridge between OpenID and OpenSSO, in other words to provide OpenID 2.0 compliant functionally using single sign-on as authentication backend. Softage experts have successfully approached the problem. An open source component has been selected and used to satisfy customer's requirements. We are proud to announce that Softage Inc has been selected as a development partner for WinWap Technologies Oy (formely Slob-Trot Software Oy Ab) ( www.winwap.com ) WAP and MMS solutions. Softage Inc was selected as development partner because of its strong skills for embedded and multi-platform development as well as long experience with mobile client technologies. The partnership includes the joint development of a full MMS client application for multiple platforms. This new MMS Client product will be based on the existing WAP communications and MMS technologies available from WinWap Technologies Oy. The MMS Client application is a full MMS client that provides functionality for composing, reading, sending and retrieving MMS Messages on most operating systems and platforms. Any device manufacturer that wishes to add MMS functionality to their devices can implement the MMS Client software on their device to provide Multimedia Messaging capabilities to the users. The MMS Client is capable of using Most transport protocols, including WAP (WSP/WTP, WP-HTTP), to send/retrieve the messages. Softage Inc has also been appointed as an official distributor for the WinWAP MMS Client application on the Russian market |
